Both are good. Ashwin even when his overseas bowling was poor was always good with bat because of his style of batting. He will continue to do okay. He never looked clueless with bat in any of the overseas series he played. Once he gets his bowling mojo overseas he will always be a match winner. He has the highest man of the series award for India that too in far less number of matches.

Ashwin is an MVP cum Indian ATG but Kohli is our best bet as test captain. Ashwin can fill in for the useless Rahane in VC post. These 2 are the only players who are sure starters in every match, home and abroad.
