Roles - Ask Pujara to play 100 balls irrespective of runs. He can't do anything more. Let him suck the momentum.

 

Ashwin - bat as he wants

 

Pandya - team is going through motions too much. Need to break shackles and disturb the rhythm of the bowler. Ask Pandya to go after Anderson and co. 

 

Kohli and rest at later stage so that they don't get to face new ball much and take advantage of better batting conditions. 

 

Why lesser batsmen at top? These are difficult conditions and main batsmen aren't surviving anyway. These guys might fail like others, but it won't be worse than what's currently happening.

Either strengthen the team with a full time batsman, or get someone like Jadeja in his place. Neither of which will happen and India will lose another test.

 

Pandya will complete the series with a few lucky wickets and a handful of streaky 20s, enough for MI fans to term him as an all rounder, next Gary Sobers, Kapil Dev II or whatever is their fancy of late.

 

Doesn't end there, wont be surprised if Shastri and co decides to have his brother have a crack at test cricket as well.

Drop Shashtri with immediate effect. Bring back Kumble. Re request Dravid to become batting coach. Zakk as bowling coach.

Give the coaching staff complete power to take action even if their action means they can let Kohli to go on second Honeymoon.

 

I can guarantee, we will have positive results withing a matter few weeks.

Agree with most. But Bhumrah should be fit now. We are not going to get a pitch where there is even slight chance for Ashwin. Opponets are simply scared of him.

So we should be prepared to play Ashwin or not to play Ashwin depending upon pitch

I want kohli to be out of 3rd test. All impostors including cheerleader will stand exposed . That's the best short term fix. We need to lose this real bad like minnows so that the power with kohli gets clipped.  At least we might stand a chance with world cup. My gut says they might sack shastri and request rahul to coach till world cup.

 

No way kohli can throw his tantrums around dravid.

Well this squad was announced for the first three tests. So once we lose the series next game, we can bring some U-19 dudes in hopefully and give them some practice and experience.

Ashwin will purely walk into the team as a batsman in current situation. His bowling though primary is a bonus and we might need someone to exercise control. 

 

If we need 4 Pacers then it should be pandya who might need to be dropped . I would drop pandya only if we get two bhuvi type consistent swing bowlers. Sadly our cupboard is bare and we will have to do with pandya.

 

We just don't have a leader of the pack. Earlier it was zak and then bhuvi and bumrah. With the 2 not around you have Pacers who are all 3rd change - shami,ishant, umesh...
