Hussain said that India should play like the top-ranked Test side but at the moment it looks like 'men vs boys.' "India are No 1 in the world and it was meant to be a gun, tight series but at the moment it is men against boys. Their curve is going in the wrong direction," Nasser Hussain told Sky Sports Cricket.

Hussain feels that England are the best side in the world at home conditions but the focus is on India, who have so far had a dismal all-round performance.

"England are arguably the best in the world in these conditions but the real eye has to be on India - they have to be wary of the wheels completely falling off," Nasser Hussain said.

Deja vu , if we lose this series we will be the butt of jokes yet again like 2011/14.

Hussain has started, slowly others will pick up and join the chorus. Recall how Bresnan was slagging off our legends in 2011. Or that edition of MCC Colin Cowdrey Lecture when the entire show was centered around making fun of Indian cricket.

Hussain has been fair with his comments but next round of verbal assaults won't be so merciful. I see no wrong in that, these mofos deserve all the criticism, more so now because of the gag order on Indian experts/commentators and bikau Indian media. But hope it spurs them on to salvage some honour. 2011 massacre was against the best team in the world, 2014 against a better and more experienced team, this one is against a team ranked much below us and itself in turmoil. 2011 Indian team was too old and ready to fall, 2014 was rookie, this time all our players are at their prime age and peak of their powers......abhi bhi time hai.

^^^ Oh Fack

Just saw England are at 5th position tied with Srilanka at 97 and we are at top with 125 points. This will be the worst ever loss, dont remember 5/6th ranked team beating a top ranked team to pulp like this.

Oh god pls win couple of matches.

Ignore the rankings. They are just a guide and mean nothing until the Test championship starts. Teams are good at home and rubbish away. That is all that matters

2014 England team wasn't much either. They were coming off a home series loss to freaking Sri Lanka.

however I do agree that if we lose this series by more than 1 test margin then this will be more humiliating, England batting order is a joke but more importantly we have a fairly experienced team with a majority of the team on their second England tour

Weren't we ranked #1 in 2011 as well?

England was just behind us and after 2nd test took over no 1 spot. Before the series we were #1 on the decline, they were closely behind at #2 but on the ascendancy.

This series so far has just been England Vs Kohli and occasional good spells by bowlers, rest all are baggage's that we need to shed.

Vijay, Pujara, Rahane, Dhawan, Kartik, Enough said !! We need a complete overhaul by infusing a young gun team lead by Kohli.

Rahane has been utter Garbage for past 3 years and only contributes once in 10 tests. Dhawans test career has been hot and cold after a promising start and never really took off, Pujara is just a shadow of his past, Kartik is a make shift arrangement, and Vijay has passed his time and heading towards expiry date.

If we have to lose 5-0 to get rid of these retards then i will take it right away.

Hussain is right. This team needs severe criticism for the better. Kick away the hacks & past by sell date players like Pujara,Vijay, Dhawan,Kartick etc etc & bring in talented youngsters at very young age, give them time to settle in both formats and make a combination of left-right batsmen in equal numbers with Kohli guiding them. That's the only solution,

We nearly won the first test. We really should've won.

We got the worst of conditions in the second test, and we performed very poorly.

England are fragile as us, but they're playing at home, so they'll benefit from the friendly conditions. Still feel we can put a fight and possibly win a match.

People getting all dramatic and sheeet

And you're saying others are dramatic :cantstop:
