rtmohanlal
so glad to see him well with the ball. Now he should turn it on with the bat by playing aggressively. That's where his real strength lies zen 1 Link to comment

zen
what a journey for the young cricketer .... unnecessarily hated for his swag, criticized despite performing well relatively .... the guy is one of the most well behaved cricketers on the field and looks to punch above his weight while bringing the never say die spirit to the team In his short test career, has hit 1 100, along with other 50+ scores, and picked up a 5-fer, along with a couple of 3 wkts hauls .... In terms of bowling, bowled only 10 overs in the first test, was the 2nd best bowler in the 2nd test, and now the best bowler in this test .... in batting, it was good to see him try to play as per the situation, leave balls, take blows on the body, etc. .... he is a constantly improving cricketer atm! asterix
The guy has something in him... I’ve hated him too... I’ve called him all sorts of names... Fido-Dido, Road Romeo, Sadak chhaap...etc... But he does has something in him... yes, he’s not an all rounder... to hell with it. I’m just happy that he’s done well in testing conditions than many of the other losers... Stradlater
Well done. Although I still have my reservations about him but that was a display of some fine fast bowling. I hope he succeed and prove me wrong. zen and raki05 2 Link to comment

I’m just happy that he’s done well in testing conditions than many of the other losers... And crucially, he doesn't have to necessarily be a world class allrounder - this Indian team is strong enough to carry him through if he can just be a decent one. Even that will make the team unit stronger than the sum of its parts. Just imagine - with Ashwin injured, if we didn't have Pandya to bowl, England could have easily re-built with a partnership and the game would be completely different. The old conventional "4 bowlers are enough" simply doesn't work with just 1 spinner in the team, and zero part-timers. asterix, Adi BB, Nikhil_cric and 8 others 2 2 7 Link to comment

Turning_track
Congrats to Pandya. Was being unfairly criticised for non-cricketing reasons. Swung beautifully today & fab performance in 6 overs which he bowled. asterix and express bowling 1 1 Link to comment
Ankit_sharma03
I expected something from him, have always noticed he likes being in game...if he fails at one aspect he ll do something with other In SA, he made runs.....when he failed with bat.....he took that 2 wkts .....then in one of test fielded brillantly In odi also in SA he wasnt making runs but was bowling n fielding really really well With some players u cnt jst take them out of the game, he has fire, attitude and fight in him .........thats why i really like him as a cricketer Edited August 19, 2018 by Ankit_sharma03 zen, philcric, raki05 and 1 other 4 Link to comment
