“Cricket takes us to a whole new level,” Sidhu said before leaving for Lahore after attending Prime Minister Imran Khan’s oath-taking ceremony in Islamabad. “A match between the winning team of the IPL and PSL is a good idea.”

 

 Navjot Singh Sidhu has suggested a way to somewhat resume cricketing ties between India and Pakistan. In a video, in which Sidhu is seen conversing with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf senator Faisal Javed, he suggested a three-match series between the winners of Indian Premier League (IPL) and Pakistan Super League (PSL).

 

Sidhu, facing criticism for hugging Pakistan’s army chief, said on Tuesday the gesture was made in an “emotional moment” and that his trip was not politically motivated.

Should only happen when the issues are sorted out don’t understand their ex players claiming cricket brings two countries together on one hand they stab us in the back and want sports to continue not possible nothing against their common people but cricket should not continue as long as the issues are not sorted out.

As much as I hate to pin this on the Congress, I think everybody knows that Amrinder singh views NSS as a threat and a disruptive force within the state unit.

 

The idea for NSS was to quit BJP (dont blame him for that) and join AAP as their CM candidate and lead the party in the state.  But Kejri did not want another leader rising so he basically said Sidhu can join as an aam aadmi.

 

So he jumped to Congress and resigned his RS seat. Thought he will get plumb portfolio if congress win or replace Amrinder if Congress lose as number 1 in state unit. Congress swept Punjab and Amrinder did not need Sidhu supporters. He got given a shitty portfolio and is sidelined by Amrinder singh. Congress state gov even pressed charges in that parking case murder against him. 

 

Started to do theatrics ever since. This is a long continuing saga in this regard. Will continue to make all sorts of noises to be noticed.
