That's a strong team. They still managed to rope-in Curran with this combination. I heard Moeen is in a fine form with the bat.

India need to remove cook as soon as possible koz he has good record here, I think at least one innings England Lost last 6 wickets in 100 runs in 4th test

Jadeja/Ash better but I can not see Vihari debut tomorrow

An on song Kuldeep can run through line ups within a matter of overs.Good legspin is always better ,and he is a left hander ,the rarest of bowlers you can find.

If only one spinner is to play ,it has to be ash no doubt.

We are doing very well at athletics, but honestly we could have done much better in other sports.Want to see India getting into the top 3 consistently withing the next decade.

It's kind of embarrassing that we are still behind the likes of Chinese Taipei, Indonesia, North Korea, Iran. It's clear China, Japan and South Korea will be top three for quite some time, but we are still struggling to get to #4 in the medal tally.

Moeen is batsman first.

Yes but an ineffective batsman with many weaknesses that can be exploited. I suspect that one of the other bowlers (Stokes/Broad/Jimmy) are not fully fit and that England are going for moeen just for the extra bowling option as well. Just a hunch though. Otherwise there was no need to drop pope.

Moeen is in good batting form so they picked him over Pope

If we are talking about form in county, then pope had a fantastic year as well from what I've heard. I highly doubt Moeen Ali is any better a batsman than when he played in the Ashes and, barring, a shocker from our bowling attack we should dismiss him cheaply.

well indonesia and some others like thailand have no business being in the top 10,they are mostly there due to some random local sports like pancay silat(13 or so golds have been won by indonesia)and a few others.Absurd how this has been allowed,we should include gillidanda and kho kho next time we host the games.

Are India thinking of playing both R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja at the Ageas Bowl?

Some might even suggest that thoughts of playing a second spinner might have crept into India's minds after Joe Root revealed that Moeen Ali would play the fourth Test and share spin duties with Adil Rashid.

Moeen, however, is taking the place of a specialist batsman, Ollie Pope, and England view his offspin as a bonus, given the many and varied bowling options they already possess.

I hope we don't play just 2  specialist pacers again.   :wall:      England want us to fall into this trap by playing Moeen  ( who is actually replacing a batsman )
