Sharma to Bairstow, OUT, one more duck for Bairstow, and Ishant has bowled really smartly. Batting not great from Bairstow. His stumps have been the target, Ishant tries that first up, but then bowls one outside off. The ball holds its line, Bairstow follows it with his hands without getting close to it. Easy catch for Pant. What an absolute turnaround here

JM Bairstow c †Pant b Sharma 0 (4b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

Bumrah shows me what I know.

Imagine those catches were held. The way we've bowled the last 40 overs, we would've run through this line-up

Yup those drops hurt us big time.

All new batsmen struggling against this formidable pace attack

Yeah he's very bitter type too.
Already doesn't want to leave his wicketkeeping gloves despite injury.
Reminds me of Dhoni

lol... One thing we can expect from Kohli is to get a whip on his bowlers and take some damn wickets. If it was Dhoni, both Cook and Moeen would've got a double century here.

Absolutely ,with kohli there's always something around the corner and you can bank on some sort of comeback from nowhere ,aka centurion day 1

a batting line up of hacks - Mooen, Bairstow, Stokes, Buttler, Curran, Rashid, Board, ...., works when the conditions help bowlers as their 20-30 can be useful .... If this is a good pitch (not watching it live yet), some of these guys will need to score big

Pandya and Bumrah  due that won us the 3rd test with the ball.... Now Bumrah is fighting like a lone ranger

If you repeat it 100 times, it doesn't become the truth. We won that test because we batted well twice over. Bowlers did their part like they did in the first two tests,

That's because Kohli has a much better set of bowlers than Dhoni.

It was a good batting wkt so that spell by Pandya was magical .... Eng scored 300+ in their 2nd

Don't get a heart attack if Pandya does well

lol.. No. The only noteworthy addition is Bumrah. All other bowlers were still there. Kohli gives his bolwers freedom to execute their own plans. While Dhoni was absolute garbage with anything related to Test cricket.

Guys I am not watching the match ,how's the pitch playing?

Unless some guys convert the starts to get big score, Ind's range is 150-300 irrespective of how good the pitch is for batting

Yeah that is true but still is it semi flat?

not watching it live yet but Eng has been proceeding cautiously so could be a relatively sporting pitch

Since Ind is batting last, Eng in its 2nd innings would only need to get close to Ind's first inning score. Which would mean Ind would be chasing whatever Eng gets in its 1st inning. Eng is already close to 150 here with 6 wkts remaining

150 up for Eng .... so if Eng gets close to Ind's first inning score in its 2nd inning, Ind would be chasing at least 150+ in its last .... 6 wkts still remain!

I may get crucified for this but man I miss Ashwin. On flat pitches I would choose Ashwin anyday . He creates something.

When there is rough jadeja becomes deadly. There should be an option to change bowlers after first innings
