but seriously, I think one should remove the stats from the 2nd Test to more accurately gauge our players performance. That test was an atrocity and doesn't reflect the players actual batting ability methinks. That applies mostly to our side as we seemed to get the worst of the conditions that match, as opposed to the clear skies the English got.

Pujara is a more of a subcon specialist and he scores like mini-Bradman there .... Rahane is supposed to pick it up and shoulder the responsibility in SENA .... if he is going to perform similarly or even get out batted in SENA, there are players who can be more useful in subcon while performing at his level in SENA

Ohh their is no question on pujara at home....he is as good as anyone but 

ur no. 3 player cnt have these avg 

aus- 33

Nz- 15

Sa- 31 ( he has been on 3 tours of SA)

Wi- 31

Eng- 30 ( 2 tour of england)

 

He is a senior player and if we want to play with 4 bowler + all rounder all 5 batsman have to take responsibility specially the seniors ones

 

Rahane needs to get back to drawing board n do sme srs work.....coz he cnt buy a run in home conditions n struggling in overseas to 

 

If these 2 dnt step up their game and continue to be avg, it becomes diff to drop them and forget about winning in SENA countries
