India vs England: CoA may discuss England tour with Ravi Shastri

https://indianexpress.com/article/sports/cricket/india-vs-england-coa-may-discuss-england-tour-with-ravi-shastri-5347428/

”There is a CoA meeting in Mumbai on September 11. While the main discussion will be on implementation of new constitution, the performance of England series will certainly come up for discussion,” a senior BCCI official told PTI today.

”It will be CoA’s call whether they want to meet Ravi Shastri in person or seek his feedback via written report. At this point in time, Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) is non functional. Till elections are held, it’s CoA which will be in charge, so it’s only imperative that they will assess the performance” he added.

”The manager’s report is a templated one. Sunil Subramanium’s duties are purely administrative and it has got nothing to do with cricketing performance. It will be purely based on logistics issues like accommodation, choice of food, travelling facilities, practice conditions etc. Sunil doesn’t have the mandate to write anything else. So cricketing feedback depends on either Shastri, Kohli or MSK,” the official clarified.

It will be interesting to note if CoA asks for the team physio Patrick Farhart’s report on the injury status of certain players during the ongoing tour which is likely to conclude in the next couple of days.

”Was Bhuvneshwar Kumar forced into playing the third ODI despite back injury? Was Ravichandran Ashwin fully fit during the Southampton Test? In both case, the official word was aggravation of injury which proves there was an injury in first place. Hope CoA asks for this report,” another senior BCCI official said.

Stop watching Cricket on televisions and stop supporting the brands these chewts are responsible for.

Worshiping them is the worst part as you know that in India or social media emotional fans would come out with memes defending them or attack those people who will be critical of them.

Yes Pakistan England was a 2 test match series but look at the way Arthur prepared them and the players were willing to fight out there in the middle but for us that was not the case cancelling practice matches poor selections and tactics but after the home series everything will be forgotten emotional fans will worship them every player will be a hero.

This free loader leech is paid 8 cr for non performance. This is ultimate in corruption. Kumble was ten times the coach this leech could ever be.

You know it yourself Khota bhai in India if your circle pr or friendship is with the right people then you benefit from those situations and cheerleader is the best example of that.Kumble was trying to be professional and didn’t entertain superstar culture so he was booted out by these mediocre players and even the so called Cricketing Advisory Committee was inept they were never able to resolve the issue between Virat and Kumble.

You have a valid point. Shastri is useless and that gives autocratic powers to the moron Kohli. This setup is so corrupt from top down. pakistan has much better coaching then India and they are utilizing their resources lot more efficiently. Bubugiri and Govt mentality has crept into cricket also and hence they cannot compete.

Add to the fact that there are useless jornalist who never raise a flag to what is going on. This is garbage.

They shamelessly went after Kumble because he was instilling discipline in the team. Shastri all his life was a non performer whereas Kumble was the best spin bowler ever. Kohli has no authority none whatsoever to pick a coach. Peopele on this forum said we need a coach who can get along with Kohli at that time and I suggested why not make Anushka the coach. Picking Shastri over Kumble is like buying Nano over Camry. Such a downgrade.

Cheerleader has been a mouthpiece of Bcci and has done lot of cheerleading for them so he got the reward for being an a** kisser this is the reality though not saying Kumble would have been world class coach or would have made us world beaters but he was a true professional and that costed him.

Pakistan introduced Arthur and they got rid of the superstar culture and deadweights like Hafeez,Riaz,Umar Akmal,Shezad and at least tried to introduce young players fresh thoughts and energy in the team even if they have played against poor teams but he is taking right decisions here we Are persisting with an old MSD or introducing Jhadav,Raydu or Raina or Vijay,Dhawan or Jinx  it’s disappointing.
