Oh yes. I wonder what if the Bihari and uttrakhandi players come back to their respective teams? That will be so good.

Actually would be bad for original teams. The balance won't be there. And jh is a very promising team. Would be better if the weak teams develops their team without the expats. The talent pool will get bigger. Besides no one would like to leave a top team and join a minnow team.

Watching Vihari bat,it looks like he's improved his hitting from what we last saw in IPL,given that he can also bowl,he should be in the scheme of things for the World Cup,since Jadhav can break down at any time

A very good point.  We need a solid batsman who can be the 6th bowler.

Yesterday's pitch had some pace and bounce and Hyderabad has 3 tall sharp pacers including Siraj and a good spinner.

Vihari was playing strokes effortlessly and driving and pulling well. Playing well on the backfoot too.

95  off 99  was a top effort on that pitch.

A. Rayudu  dismissed for 11 off 17 balls ...  off a short bouncing ball.

Mumbai bowled lots of short balls to him and he seems to have a distinct weakness against bounce ...  even though the 2 slower seamers in the side were bowling.

Slow and unconvincing innings in both matches so far.

Lol. He batted exactly like the more famous Rayudu for first 50/60 runs. Then he changed himself and batted like Rohit for rest of the innings. emoji28.png Was 70 of around 100 at some point.

that was because they had lost 5 wickets early.

Atleast one of the rayudu's can bat.

Rohit Rayudu scores a century.

Headlines will be " Rayudu scores a ton "

Selectors will choose Ambati Rayudu in the test squad  based on perceived 50 over performance.    :phehe:

Shaw batting recklessly and trying to hit every ball.  Don't know whether it is because of his shoulder injury and he feels that he won't be able to bat for long.

In the test matches he was ducking to short balls in most cases. Handled the express pacer Gabriel with ease, be it pace or bounce.  Today he is pulling almost every short ball.

And he is playing too many lofted shots compared to the test matches.  Treating this like a masala match.

perfect approach in LOIs, just go after everything in 10 overs and in his case most of them are proper shots

Being a little more selective in his shot making ... like he was in tests ... will bring better rewards.

his partner can do that, arent you guys bored of mechanical approach in cricket, just enjoy the natural flair

For us to enjoy the natural flair ... he must be at the crease.  Should have been caught twice in that Siraj over.

When Dhoni left the captaincy, Khaleel Ahmed thought that he will never get a chance to play under the captaincy of Dhoni. At that time, he thought that his dream of playing under Dhoni’s captaincy will never come true.

Hahahha What the F....! This is just sad.

Kishan gone for a duck. Poor shot from him. This is a green pitch with good bounce and he goes down the track to Saini in the 2nd ball that he faced and edges it to the keeper.

pitch is green but there is not much movement. looks to be a batting beauty.

Kishan wasted 2 golden opportunities to impress the selectors in 2 knockout matches.

After a good season so far in VH, it is these knockout match performances which can catapult a player to the next level.

He is just 20 and will get more opportunities though.
