Yes. He thrives in supporting role with his batting partner doing most of the heavy lifting. And then hogs credit for his "calming presence".

Pants keeping can't be judged based on England where the ball was moving a lot and the likes of shami were flinging it wide from time to time. I think he would be better than dhoni currently if he were keeping here.

Why r u guys not looking at the bigger picture ? He mentors & nurtures younger players as they seem to suggest, has a calming influence on the field (mostly for the opposition) when he's batting , is ready for outsourced captaincy contracts (ask Kohli!) and believes in total process.
