Doull tries to cover his comment

Simon Doull is currently working as the cricket expert for Cricbuzz in the ongoing Asia Cup. He was involved in a discussion over Pakistan’s team combination for the crucial game against India. However, with Shaheen Afridi playing well on his debut, the former Kiwi felt that Amir shouldn’t be included and was of the opinion that Usman Khan will not be dropped after one bad game.

But Bhogle felt that Amir had something special in him compared to his teammates to trouble the famed Indian batting line-up. He was referring to Rohit Sharma’s troubles against the left-arm pacer and nothing else in his comments. “I think Amir should play against India as he has something that other Pakistani bowlers don’t have,” Bhogle said on Cricbuzz Live.

However, Doull was quick to cut his colleague’s comment in the middle and take a dig at Amir’s past. “What? Jail sentence?” he said which confused Harsha for a split second as well and then the New Zealander tried to make amends for his comment.

Eventually, Pakistan have included Mohammad Amir in the team for the crunch encounter and it will be interesting to see if he repays the faith showed in him by the team management.

@velu reminds me of dug out commies during IPL :phehe: Harsha was shocked for few seconds.

But Harsha wouldn't shy from taking sneaky digs on Indian players. This holier than thou attitude is only for outsiders.

It is like kohli being overly generous with non Indian fans , players, umpires.

Never seen him go overboard giving team signed jersey ( thus forcing others ) to Indian players like he did for a pakistani and Sri lankan.

Never seen him being extra nice to Indian fans like inviting them for his wedding.

With bhogle we can call it inferiority complex but kohli...
