Team for the next match

I thought that we need another pacer especially playing teams which are generally better against spin. Khaleel over Jadeja can be an option pick according to me unless the track is really favoring spin. Though it is a tough choice as Jadeja brings in his fielding and adds more depth to batting. 

 

We know no one is going to change the batting but would really love to see Rahul get a game. Oour biggest hole right now (since last 3-4 years) is the undercooked middle order.

I expect Chahar, Khaleel to get a game. Bhuvi and Bumrah should be rested. KL Should also get a game, but I don't think Rohit and Dhawan should be rested as they've the momentum.

dhawan should not be rested, let him enjoy his batting

rayudu and dk both should be out, for Rahul and Pandey and hopefuly both remain in the final

both Bhuvi and Bumrah should take a break for Khalil and Chahar, Chahar can be promoted up the order to assess his hitting prowess

 

however this is not expected from a braindead myopic TM

Pretty much this. We need to assess what our best XI is.

Rohit in his post match interview said pitch is getting slower n slower and hence he wants more spinners, I doubt he is going to drop spinners further ahead..

We are in the final with Afghanistan losing both their matches.

 

So, overworked players and especially pacers, need rest.   Namely Bumrah, Bhuvi, Kuldeep.

 

Khaleel must play this game. He is the most promising young pacer for LOIs.
