Captain of the Indian Cricket Team Virat Kohli has always spoken about difficulties celebrities face around not being able to stay in their space. But ever since he got married to Anushka Sharma, Kohli has got used to the constant attention and has said how Anushka has been helpful when dealing with such scenarios.

While Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have had a star-studded wedding, which saw the who’s who of Bollywood as well as Indian cricket all under one roof, the couple has also been supportive of each other. Kohli, in particular, has been vocal about how his wife has been an important aspect of his success as a cricketer. He also spoke about the presence of Anushka Sharma in his life, especially when it comes to understanding difficult situations.

 

Anushka and I get along very well: Kohli

“That was one of the reasons why we got along so well, to be able to understand each other’s mindset and the demands of being in such a position. And also the fact that we are so similar in terms of the backgrounds we have. People do not understand us at all. They think we live a fairytale life and things are only of royal standards, but in reality, we are really normal people,” Virat Kohli was quoted as saying during an interview with Wisden Cricket Monthly.

“We are in the public eye so it seems too far-fetched for the public to connect with, but we lead a very simple life at home. And that’s how we like to live. We do something that is in the public eye but we never chose to be recognised in this way,” he added.

 

Virat has had a stellar series against England with the bat. Following a complete failure against the likes of James Anderson and Stuart Broad in 2014, Kohli came back to England a much-improved batsman, who had an answer to almost everything that the English threw at him. The skipper was imperious and ended with a staggering 593 runs from the 5 Tests he played.

Although India lost the series 1-4, Virat’s dominance with the bat was one of several positives they could take away from the series. Virat Kohli has been rested for the ongoing Asia Cup and has delegated captaincy duties to Rohit Sharma. He also received the prestigious Khel Ratna on Tuesday.

Tbh Anushka doesnt come across smart/intelligent in most of her interviews. She was gigling and sounded dumb in her interview in  Koffee with Karan.

 

Also, she is one actress who I just don’t find pretty at all. She looked weird/average in PK and Ae dil Mushkil. She only looked good in Rab ne bana do with ethnic and natural look.

Anushka even tried to portray herself as coming from a middle class background because her mom had to STITCH( see the connection to ' sui dhaga') a dress for some school show ....poor poor girl.

 

If she acts as a begger next, she will say her Army officer dad could not provide food so she had to beg from neighbors.

 

They  won't even spare the parents.

I also don't get how going out to play while dad's dead body was at home makes him a more dedicated person.

He should have been at home with family.

It was a ranji match....he could have batted the next day or even if he missed, there would be other matches.

 

Even soldiers at the border go home when parents die.There is a time for dedication.

 

If a guy with a regular job chose to go to work or open his shop while his dad's body was at home....he would be called names .

little off-topic..

 

there is a running joke in samsung korean office .. even after we die , managers will ask us to come to office :phehe: 

one of my team mate who is a girl broke her hand when trying to ske in lotta world .. our korean boss asked her to come to office the very next day and he innocently asked her whether her other hand is fine :rotfl:

She should have said..." I use my other hand to wash my butt...so can't use that for company work ".:p:

we use to have auto-wash toilets in the office  :p:

no need to use hands .. auto wash with water temperature control .. comes with hot blower to dry as well 

on workdays , i loo in the office and not at my home  ;-)
