For the 1st test. If Rahane fails again, he should not be selected for Australia tour. Also with 2 specialist spinners, we don't need a fifth bowler. Kuldeep is not a test bowler yet. Vihari can be the fifth option to give main bowlers a rest.

Rahul is an opener and that's where he should play.
