Now that ENG series is over, how Pujara can be rated over all?

All right, he  fared reasonably well  in the ENG series. But still he avg:ed only  39.71 from  8 inns that too with the help of one 132 not out.And baring that snail paced 72 too  he was utter failure in 6 out of 8 inns. 278 runs from 8 inns is far from adequate  for a top 6( especially 1st down) batsman.

And his record in SENA  after  7 series in these countries still presents a pathetic reading.

41 inns 1 not out  1172  runs  29.3 avg:

An avg: of 29.3 after playing 41 inns in these 4 countries is downright pathetic overall. What not  , not even 35+ avg:  in any of these 4 countries.

And he has played 62 tests  and is almost 31 years of age. Hence it is a mere formality  that, if this mediocre is allowed to play 7 more years till he turns 38(  and being the shame less sense less hack he is , he would happily play with out even a bit of remorse or hesitation  at the cost of disappointments

of lakhs and  lakhs of game loving fans across the nation. After all , isn't it such a comforting experience to earn crores with out doing any thing at all????)

This hack even do not know to bat in WI , a lower ranked team. All he knows is being a monster in Asia in tests only. Feel  a lot mentally disturbing to imagine his presence in the team. Thoughts....

That includes one runout where he was sold out by Kohli as well. He's not the greatest away against pace and movement but he managed to score some crucial runs. Also , in Asian conditions, he's probably our best batsman. Some batsmen have been flopping both home and away for a while and theg should be getting greater scrutiny. Che has done ok.

1 run out out of 6 remaining flop inns  doesn't prove any thing in his favour. In Asian conditions , with lots of bowlers like Ashwin,Jadeja,Pandya ,Kuldeep, Bhuvi etc etc  able to provide those extra runs, we don't need a Pujara at all. In my opinion a player with utter mediocre record after 7 series in SENA  is the worst, nothing can beat that.

He will do well in Aus this time around .I expect super flat pitches worse than last time and only threat for India is Lyon and he is a beast against spin.

It is these type of players which are hurting India in the long run. They take a lot more  time than what is required to settle down as all round batsmen. To avg: mere 29.3 after 41 inns spread across 7 series in SENA is far from adequate which proved to be one of the vital factors for losing  so many series in SENA once he made his debut. Now, what if he proves to be some what success in AUS ? It just renews his license for a few more series in SENA in which he can keep on failing there by hurting team chances a lot . That's all

He is not Flat track bully. I have seen him perform in helpful conditions for both spinners & pacers. We can more likely say he is Asian track bully but can perform in any asian conditions doesn't matter spin or pace. Overseas stats are poor but others have done so poor that he might look good as of now. We can't make wholesale changes directly maybe try to find replacement for rahane at 5 and then look for youngster who can bat at 3.

that is why this WI series is a golden oppertunity to  test some  talented youngsters namely Shaw,Vihari,Karun ,Pant,Mayank etc etc in place of this tested overseas failure Pujara.' Lower order can bat fairly well & deep ' is an extra cushion to try even  more than 2 talented youngsters  .
