Controversy always hits whenever India and Bangladesh meet in the big tournaments. The same happened in the Asia Cup final when Liton Das was given out stumped by the third umpire Rod Tucker for not having any part of the foot behind the line. But Bangladesh fans believed that the benefit of the doubt should’ve gone to the batsmen and felt that the match turned with the dismissal.

 

They claimed to be cheated once again in the big event with even the skipper Mashrafe Mortaza coming up with a witty statement over the same. The miffed fans, however, have come up with a weird method to fight against the ‘injustice’ and the group that calls itself the Cyber Security and Intelligence (CSI) has hacked the Indian captain Virat Kohli‘s official website.

 

Liton was batting on 121 off 117 deliveries when he was given out and they felt that the score would they posted would’ve been different if he had carried on for more time.

 

Apologize to the whole world

According to Dhaka Tribune, the group called CSI hacked the website to protest against the umpire’s decision and also asked the International Cricket Council (ICC) if they were playing a gentleman’s game. Interestingly, they hacked the ‘Gallery’ part of the website and uploaded three pictures about the dismissal and a message which explained their protest.

 

“Dear ICC, Didn’t Cricket use to be a gentlemen’s game? Shouldn’t every team have fair rights? Please explain how it was out? If you don’t officially apologize to the whole world and take actions against the umpire then get ready to be hacked every single time you recover the site,” the message read.

 

Also, the hacking group also requested the Indian fans to not misunderstand their step and urged them to think about it. “And my fellow Indian brothers and sisters, We mean no disrespect to you guys. Please think about it. How would you feel if injustice was done with your team? Every single national team should be treated equally in the game,” the message further read.

The website is still hacked and it remains to be seen if any action will be taken on the group for hacking India’s most popular cricketer’s website.
