Manoj Prabhakar was one, Ajinkya Rahane saw the repeated axe and finally Karun Nair. The decision to carry him as part of the Indian squad for the anticipated England series did come as a bit of a surprise, but hurt the cricketer badly was he was devoid of chance in the playing XI through the entire series. In fact, an uncapped player was called up and earned his maiden Test cap over relatively-experienced Nair. And finally, on Sunday, he was dropped from the West Indies series as well. Sympathy rested on his shoulders from all avid followers of cricket, while experts lamented over another case of mismanagement. But reports hint towards 'attitudinal problem' behind the snub. Irony because Virat and Shastri themselves have the biggest attitudinal problems. Sent from my CPH1609 using Tapatalk tweaker, mishra and Suhaan 3 Link to comment
Brainfade
For the umpteenth time, Nair did not deserve to make the trip to England. Just because MSKP's crew sent him does not mean he deserved a chance ahead of GHV. His mediocre stats post 300 are posted all over ICF. They pale in comparison to GHV or even someone like Bawne. He needs to go back and score heavily in domestics and A games. sandsaims, manu4411, UrmiSinhaRay and 2 others 2 2 1 Link to comment
putrevus
I have all sympathies for Kaurn Nair, but he has not lit up any scoreboard after that 300.He has been leading India A on many tours too. anish2tweet and UrmiSinhaRay 2 Link to comment
