I think this will be very competitive...

Since team A got kohli, I gave away dhawan, pujara and klr to team b to make it equal...

 

I feel if bcci organize this every year for a big prize money

a) slowly we will become self sufficient

b) cpt kohli will get a good idea about the reserve strength of our team

c) excellent prep before going to Sena countries rather than playing afghans or west indies as everyone will be hungry to perform..

 

Wish we did this in Mohali before going cold and half baked to England earlier this year..

This is an amazing concept..India has two teams first 11 worth this bit has been clear for some time. Need to use kohli vs Rohit..will be interesting. As long as it does not impact team dynamics.

Besides this would be the best possible competition outside of a combined Eng/aus side with Kp swann cook add Smith warner  in India for Indian players.

This could be played as one off test each year. Could replace meaningless irani trophy.

It would be more interesting if the two teams were selected based regional combination such as North-West vs South-East or so on
