theguyinallblue
A inform quality all rounder is missing...Kallis can hit Big and and score quickly.. But he has been disapponting so far...we need some one like dimitri or pathan or razzaq..
Ram
Kohli has also been disappointing so far. I certainly expected him to play atleast ONE significant innings ( 70 off 40 balls), but he has failed to deliver.
cricketman
Dravid was simply sublime today. Best innings of the IPL so far.

cricketman
lollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll Toughest conditions to bat in with wickets falling all around you. Dravid stuck in there and played such a sublime knock full of proper cricketing strokes rather then unconventional ugly slogs. It was amazing. veer
taylor was their best hitter.. but after his departure.. they look awful in batting department kallis, jaffer, dravid, boucher cant be in the same team..

It was good decent innings. He looked positive and was in with a purpose. Lot better than what we have seen of him during the series but it wasnt the best ip innings or something liek you put it. Guest HariSampath
Dravid was simply sublime today. Best innings of the IPL so far. Dravid played a very good inngs today, but he was "helped" by the fact first 3 got ducks and there was no serious pressure on him to be aggressive, as could have been if he had come in at 60-3. Best inngs of IPL ?? dude, have you been seeing the tournament ? I presume you mean HIS best in IPL, if so, thats correct, but this was still not a T20 inngs, this was good by 50 overs standards. Guest Hiten.
RD and the guys who are behind picking playing XI are to be blamed for atleast today's dismal performance. Kallis has been out of form both with bat and ball, but smartarses drop Bouchy and persist with kallis. Result -> Kallis out for a DUCK and in bowling he has been less than useful in this competition. 5 ducks in T20 match is totally absurd. RCB has a squad that can deliver in T20, but as marirs said they have been underachieving. Steyn, ZK and PK form a more than formidable attack but they too have fired in solely and not together as one unit. Anyways, well played RD. theguyinallblue
cameroon white is a specialist 20-20 batsman...but he failed in 2 chances he got.. Misbah..got 2 chances and failed.... Kohli is not fullfiling his promise where as..pathan..rohit...PaPa are scoring runs... what can Dravid do....? Players must raise their hands and be counted.. Guest Hiten.
Kohli is not fullfiling his promise He had chance of his life to revive RCb's fortunes. But he played a very very rash shot considering the fact that RCB were in need for a BIG partnership.
amits
dravid himself had a say in selecting the squad, so cant feel sorry for him. but if someone else had selected the squad, then only someone would have felt sorry for dravid
satishg
well u cant blame dravid for his teams faliures..he is trying his best but he aint suited for this format..he is a class act but 20 20 is not his style anytime anyday..
graphic23
You know, I don't understand some of the statements made above. When MS Dhoni made that invaluable 76* in the 1st Test at Lords with a low S/R, we hailed him as someone who can switch gears and play according to the situation - because he usually plays aggressively. He fully deserved credit for that - no doubts. Dravid played a superb innings today under a lot of pressure because all the people he trusted to deliver failed. But he gets no credit for his 130 S/R innings of 66 because its too slow for T20. *Sigh* VVS Laxman, similarly played a couple of awesome knocks last week, and again, he was "slow." I fail to understand how this is justifiable. For any of the big hitters we hail currently have a lot to achieve before they can be even compared to Dravid, Laxman, or Ganguly. Let us keep things in perspective. He played a sublime knock today, which, if he was in form, would've been far better I think. Lets give him credit because he deserves it. We are quick to criticize him on his team selections or when he scored a golden duck but we are so conservative to appreciate him when he plays a great knock. I hope this knock gives him some confidence and he plays more positively in the upcoming IPL matches and more importantly, in the upcoming test matches. arkay
Royal Challengers: Charu Sharma sacked Charu Sharma is the first casualty to be kicked because of Royal challengers poor performance. It is being speculated that Venkat Prasad is also in the chopping block. Dont know why they would single out Venkatesh Prasad when there is also Martin crowe who is the coach. When the stakes are high, these IPL guys would not sit tight when they see poor performance.
arkay
This may set a precedent for others to follow. Which team will be next? Mumbai Indians?

Ram
Charu Sharma sacked? Wow, thats embarrassing! BTW, what could he have done, if their players suck on the field. Maybe Mallya just wanted a scapegoat.
satishg
i think Mallya wanted to set an example to the players and the support staff..charu sharma din do anything..but he was the sacrificial lamb here..
