Austin 3:!6
Never seen an Indian captain who cribs so much and constantly demands something or the other. List of his few (among many) cribbings: 1) Kohli complains about scheduling of matches. Result - BCCI takes a note.https://www.hindustantimes.com/india-vs-new-zealand-2017/virat-kohli-says-players-workload-must-be-managed-in-busy-schedule/story-IoxaFgaHGvGctjg6QHVYvJ.html 2) Unhappy with Kumble and demanded appointment of Shastri. Result - BCCI bows down and appoints Shastrihttps://www.news18.com/cricketnext/news/virat-kohli-unhappy-with-head-coach-anil-kumble-1416109.html 3) Kohli wants wives to be allowed for full overseas tour. Result - BCCI agrees (reports)https://www.indiatoday.in/sports/cricket/story/virat-kohli-wants-wives-to-accompany-players-on-full-overseas-tours-reports-1357724-2018-10-07 4) Kohli unhappy with SG balls and want more upright seam. Result - SG open to raising seamhttps://m.timesofindia.com/sports/cricket/west-indies-in-india/india-vs-west-indies-virat-kohli-slams-quality-of-sg-wants-balls-standardised/amp_articleshow/66175121.cms Amazed the way BCCI/COA everyone bending backwards to all his demands. And what is the outcome of Indian cricket under him? A)Not a single series win/draw in SENA countries.B)No major ICC/ACC or other tournament wins Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk velu, Khota, UrmiSinhaRay and 1 other 1 1 1 1 Link to comment

Nikola
That's the power he has earned. Nobody in World can stop him doing anything related to cricket today. Nobody. Yes he most of time uses it for wrong thing but the level he has reached and aura he has very few people achieve it. lunigirly 1 Link to comment

Cricketics
Captains used to demand stuff before too or complain about things before too. These things become article and turn ito threads because people want to read masala and this makes good masala in the current generation, hence wome are loving it. Nothing new is being said which hasn’t been said before. There have been captains wanting and complaining about things before too. gattaca
@Austin 3:!6 Dhoni got what he wanted, ganguly got what he wanted and sachin too. Indian captain has ultimate authority in Indian cricket what wrong if it is reasonable. I dont think any of the things he asked are not reasonable. You back your best player. In a company too the CEO has all the perks and his demands are met. Edited October 13, 2018 by gattaca UrmiSinhaRay 1 Link to comment
express bowling
Unhappiness with the SG ball and recommending the Duke ball for tests ... many people are saying it these days. Umesh was very unhappy with the SG ball yesterday. So was Ashwin earlier. Waugh spoke about introducing the Duke ball everywhere in tests. And a few others too. Workload management is the mantra in cricket in every country these days. Has to be with 3 formats plus so many T20 leagues. Mosher, Cricketics and UrmiSinhaRay 2 1 Link to comment

There are pics of him sitting looking elsewhere in discussions where all the oldies decided things UrmiSinhaRay 1 Link to comment
philcric
It's not Kohli. It's Kohli's wife's brother. UrmiSinhaRay 1 Link to comment
jf1gp_1
Leave aside kohli - kumble incompatibility, which of the other 3 is an unjust demand. Crickets today are travelling non stop, if being with spouse and family helps them remain balanced then whats wrong with it. SG ball quality issue has to be valid. As far as schedule goes well not sure how that has been fixed considering we see non stop cricket. Link to comment

Bigg Brother
Apart from Kumble fiasco all are within the limits. About Cricket balls,He knows better. Having 3 away tours in a year means staying almost 6 months away from the country, anyone would like to have spouse by their side. Look at Australian side,Every players' Wife/Gf is travelling with them in Dubai. There is nothing wrong in that. Har baat me ICC trophy,SENA wins ko ghusedane ki jaroorat nahi hain.. You don't need validation to have your Wife with you by winning trophies or series. That's basic need. lunigirly, Cricketics and UrmiSinhaRay 1 2 Link to comment
