Caught glimpse of few innings of Indians in the Asia cup under 19 highlights.  One common thing is these guys are compulsive midwicket sloggers.  P Simran Singh has even the signature finish like Dhoni. His toe pointing upward heel firmly planted. Pretty powerful hitter. Ayush Badani slammed 4 sixes over mid-wicket and mid on, in one over of the best Srilankan spinner. Same way Yashavi Jaiswal the opener is severe on anything short especially against spinners he slams over mid-wicket.  They do have some phenomenal hitting skills. I mean we do get these from time to time. Not all make it big. Hooda is a case in point. Slogging skills is something our players consciously develop because of the IPL.
