Jadeja, the all-format specialist ?

Is this finally it? The long-anticipated arrival of Ravindra Jadeja as a finished package across formats?

For someone whose bowling style relies so much on flat trajectories, Jadeja is a bit of an anomaly. His is an approach you wouldn't expect to meet too much success in red-ball cricket, but he has smashed that stereotype with staggering numbers: he takes nearly five wickets a game in Tests at 23.50. But he is not India's first choice overseas. In the England Test series, he had to wait till the fifth Test to get a game, and he managed to take seven wickets in it. Since then, it's been a remarkable two months for him. To be more precise, it's been two months or so of making use of his opportunities..

On any day he is better than malnourish chahal. May be chahal can take few xtra wkt here and there but than he frequently  balls no balls, drop catches on his own bowling ,misfields here and there, and barely able to lift the bat while coming for batting.

Jadeja is that sort of player who has been mismanaged by the team management for long.Once he proved to be huge success as a bowler  in home conditions in tests , he should have been tried at no: 6 test slot after say first 10  tests itself. This is because he was having  first class avg: of 50+ in batting as well.  Naturally even if he proved to be not up to the mark for the slot, he could have been demoted in the order. On the other hand if he indeed proved fit for the slot , India could have got a quality  spin all rounder. And this would have given  lot more confidence in one dayers too.  But it took them  an 86* in ENG  to know that he  could be that all rounder. Any way better late than   never.

actually i am waiting for Krunal to play. I expect him to be a match winner specially with ball for WI.

Krunal is a damn good T20 bowler. He kept even Pant silent who was bulldozing everyone. He uses angles and pace variations very well. Though in t20 cricket anyone can get thrashed on a bad day.
