Krunal Pandya’s knock today is a breath of fresh air

I hope he gets chance in worldcup squad but it's very unlikely that it will happen. Chahal, Kuldeep & Jadeja are looking like top 3 contenders as spinners for worldcup. Hardik & Krunal combo might actually work very good in odis but i doubt kohli will take such risk with both having low international experience along with Dhoni who is past peak. From What ever i have seen of kohli's captaincy in short formats he likes picking experienced players than younger with less experience.

Don't know who those people are but if you ask me he is more than a decent spinner.  Can see lot more revs guile and flight in his bowling than any other spinner except kuldeep may be.

I am thinking play all 3- jadhav krunal and hardik with bumrah khaleel and kuldeep as core spinners.

 

I feel dK at 6 is a great fit but I might be in minority

that was a very good clutch inns from Krunal. Hope he gets into one dayers soon. Jadeja & Krunal can play as spin bowling all rounders.

Kuldeep and Chahal as specialists.When Hardik is back in the team he can be one of the seamers.Do not need Bhuvi or Umesh as front line seamers in LOIs. Any way these 2 are proven mediocrities. So Hardik can be at the least more or less as much  efficient as either of these 2. Badly wish Pant replaced Dhoni in the team .Then

Rohit,Dhawan,Kohli,Rayudu,Kedar,Pant,Hardik,Krunal,Jadeja,Kuldeep,Chahal,Khaleel,Bumrah  can form the nucleus of LOI moving forward.

The guy has impressed, dead sure he's an upgrade over Jadeja. Now let's see how consistent he can be. If he can, he can force his way into the LOI team.

there is nothing to hype about yesterday's innings nor was it anything spectacular from Krunal, this is what you expect from your all rounder, he may fail but he should have the game to play like that. But because we are so used to that phony Jadeja at that spot hence people are rating that Krunal innings as brilliant.

Look at the audacity of TM,they have again brought back that phony to Fcuk up more such situations in future.

when he sweeps the pitch and falls over facing pace bowling the same crowd will call him a hack.  Its over hype a promising youngster and then witch hunt when he fails first.

No one is saying Krunall is an ATG. It is only that his approach was refreshing after years of watching guys like Dhoni,Jadeja block,lunge and “rotate” strike in the final overs and all that take it to the last over crap.

 

His attitude and approach is what is promising. Will he kick on or falter is to be seen.

We are not looking for ATGs or " All Time Greats "  now.

 

We are looking for STDs ...  or  " Short Term Decent " players before WC 19.

 

Krunal can be a STD player now who can become MTG or " Medium Term Good " player.
