Tendulkar1996
Atrocious batting from vijay 2 of 22 not out. First innings 20 odd from 70 odd deliveries. We cant have both this guy and pujara in the team.Too negative, allows the opposition team to dominate. Look at shaw 33 of 26,second coming of sehwag.First innings 62 of 88. UrmiSinhaRay 1 Link to comment

Straight Drive
Vijay looked like washed out player recently so he is taking time to bat.Prithvi Shaw is scoring at sr of 126 as compared to sr of 9 of Murali Vijay.Understandable as one is totally in form and other is like rabbit in front of headlights.Given the horrible form, it is not surprising he is looking to start by not getting out immediately. fineleg
When you have NZ-A 211-5 you should wrap them up under 350 , even if a flat pitch. Ok they went to 336-8 or some such, atleast wrap up the last 2 (#10 and #11 bats) for a quick dismissal. On the contrary, they could not get NZ-A all out. Disappointing for Ind-A bowling attack. Purpose of playing the Test squad members here IMO was to assess their form away from home (albeit in batting conditions). Archiemiz and UrmiSinhaRay 1 1 Link to comment

tweaker
After a kind of practice game for the national players ahead of Australia tour, India A and New Zealand A will lock horns in the second of the three-match unofficial Test series. There will be five changes in the Indian team. The opening combination will be completely new one with Mayank Agarwal and Abhimanyu Easwaran taking up the responsibility. Ravikumar Samarth and Ankeet Bawne will look after the middle-order with Karun Nair and Srikar Bharat to follow. Bharat will also do the wicketkeeping duty while Vijay Shankar is likely to be the lone all-rounder in the side. There might be a change in the bowling department with Rajneesh Gurbani getting a game in place of Deepak Chahar most probably. Shahbaz Nadeem can make it to XI ahead of Krishnappa Gowtham which might weaken the batting a little bit. Probable XI: Mayank Agarwal, Abhimanyu Easwaran, Ravikumar Samarth, Karun Nair (c), Ankeet Bawne, Srikar Bharat (wk), Vijay Shankar, Rajneesh Gurbani/Deepak Chahar, Navdeep Saini, Mohammed Siraj, Shahbaz Nadeem. express bowling and UrmiSinhaRay 1 1 Link to comment
