 i think  batsmen need to be a bit more unorthodox at the crease while facing him like standing a few inches out side the crease and so on. Abbas is  such a rhythm  bowler with a more rigid skiddy release. If batsmen improvise, I think he will find it difficult to adjust because he lacks pace and  it would be lot more difficult to alter his line and length accordingly.
