zen
Rewatched two more French films: Umbrellas of Cherbourg: I am not a big fan of musical genre but this one is among the best. It is also a movie full of bright colors so looks wonderful. Poetic! Le Samourai: Another classic

Inspired by movies such as Once upon a time in the west, the man with no name trilogy Under_Score and velu 1

I rewatched Ford's The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance recently. Ford is one of my very fav directors (certified ATG in my book), and Liberty Valance is my favourite among them - although not necessarily his "greatest". It's from 1966, so it can be placed in this list. Love all the entries posted by others. Good thread! zen
