vvvslaxman
1) Put a price on your wicket ( be it is tail or top order) We miserably failed in this. There was no heart to stick around. 2) If you are going to pick only 4 bowlers make sure atleast 3 of them are game changers. India had just 2 game changers. If they get overbowled India has nowhere to hide 3) Field placing is a science, art whatever you call. You cannot randomly have fielders. Part of the blame goes to think tank as well. It was appalling field set right through. I should also include placing the right fielder at right place. Ishant at point? seriously? Then we saw 1st slip, 3rd slip and 4.5th slip what the heck was that. 4) When you bat together and build a partnership, talk to each other and if you see your partner is playing recklessly just have a word with them. Also remind them about lunch time team time. There are so many little things that our players don't do. Link to comment

Switchblade
Lower order needs to learn from Australia as Australia from 210-8 were 291 all out our lower order batsman last only for one or two overs at best. Link to comment
Vilander
Ducking Rahane Pant Shami Ashwin threw their wicket. Pathetic lower order batting.. Link to comment

ShoonyaSifar
1. Do not give up hope. 19/3, 40/4 Day 1, 1st session, Test and series looked almost gone, but we did make a comeback thanks to a much maligned Pujara 2. Do not call a pitch flat till both teams have batted. End of Day 1 so many comments said this was a 400 score pitch. Not to be. 3. Sometimes, 30s and 40s can have the same effect as a 80-90. Ashwin's 25 in 1st innings, Rahul's 44 and Pant's 28 had the same feel. Every run was worth it's weight in gold. 4. This Aussies team will not give up without a fight especially their bowlers - both with ball and while battin. 5. Keep faith in this team. We tend to find too many faults when things are not going our way. Historically we have not been known to win Tests outside Asia, that is not going to change all of a sudden. Link to comment
daryl1985
Tail end have to improve or at least learn to fight it out and stick around. 5th bowler is needed due to lack of part-time bowling options. One for many on the forum, remain positive. Too many were negative early on and thought Australia would win/avoid defeat. India were always in the driving seat. Link to comment
chak de phatte
Rohit needs to go.....he doesn't deserve place in test team. Shaw if fit should open along with Vijay and Rahul to bat in middle order above Pant. Bowling wise think we are fine. Link to comment
