The entire process was overseen by the CoA and the Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC), comprising Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and VVS Laxman.

Your words have the answer. I'm not saying only Tendulkar is the only reason for this message. I'm saying Tendulkar is also a reason for this mess - along with Kohli, COA, CAC, etc.

Did you miss the part where it clearly says CAC (Tendulkar-Laxman-Ganguly) wanted Kumble?.

Its only because of Kohli's childish tantrums, Shasthri is the coach now. Blame is entirely on Kohli.

Unless you get me proof from either COA or CAC that tendulkar also wanted sasthri, what you're saying is simply just a LIE.

You expect the COA of CAC to provide proof...?

I can never forgive this idiot, no wonder if this guy deliberately got out in final against Pakistani. The way he played 2 reckless shot in 2 balls and laughing like morons with Pakistanis after loss when whole country was sad, suggest that this man ego is superior than India victory or loss.

whatever the allegations are against kohli and his shortcomings , he would never intentionally get out or screw the team

So we have Gary Kirsten and Mike Hessen interested in the job but Edulji wants Romesh Powar because Harmanpreet and Mandhana say so. Has anyone checked with Kaur and Mandhana whom they will prefer between Kirsten/Powar or Hessen/Powar?

Grab Gary Kirsten without a second thought, he professionalised out team, won us a WC, took us to number 1 in Test and ODI rankings.

And fire these two jokers Rai and Edulji ASAP for god's sake. What a bunch of clowns running our cricket.

Dont know how long Gary kirsten will stick with team though ? Last time with Indian Men team he quit citing family.

Which is why he may be interested in the Women's Team role as they do not travel as extensively. As of now we have a 3 ODI and 3 T20s series planned in NZ in Jan-Feb. In last 12 months we have played 12 ODIs and 25 T20s. Thats not more than 3-4 months of cricket.

He was earning Rs 2.5 cr per year ($k) as men's team coach. This role will also have similar salary but with lesser workload.

Peoples who has created war and this is just loosing a game and it was clearly evident that he was not even slightly disappointed after loosing the final against archrival, where as same kohli was crying after sf exit in wt20.

Harmanpreet  and co should get a coach of their choice. Who the hell is Rai to say no. Diana is right when Kohli can get coach of his choice, Harmanpreet should get it too.

Coach is not the most important person for the team, captain is and captain should have a say in who becomes his team's coach. It was Kumble's job to mesh with Kohli and not otherway around.Wins and losses go on Captain's name .If they don't like captain then sack him/her and get a new captain but as long as they are captain, they should have final say on coach.

This notion that Kumble is a suprerior coach is ridiculous.

lol

She wants to select Powar since captain want him

Rai said no players are having too much of a say on coach this should not happen.

she says 'but what about' when kumble was ousted, rules were broken then why can't i break the rules now since i like Powar.

power mongers all of them.

You sure about that? He was hell bent on removing Kumble at any costs. He was seen shamelessly laughing with the opposition team after he lost the match.

Hmm cant deny that,he has zero integrity ,proved the very moment he was found shamelessly participating in the laughter riot there

Never did we have seen an Indian skipper humiliating us by such spit worthy conduct in front of pakistanis

He has become thorn to many eyes since then

i meant he would never throw his wicket just because he didnt like the coach ..

anyway its clear that kumble and kohli dont have a good professional relationship and many players/coaches had issues

No,yaar, but he was so adamant about his dismissal as coach that it looked that he didn't care one bit about the massive loss we had suffered at the hands of our arch enemy just moments ago and started celebrating which looked cringe level ugly
