third test pandya

I think he will be playing the Ranji match starting tomorrow. If he can hit a century and prove his fitness by bowling a lot of overs, sure he can make it to the 3rd test. MCG and SCG are not going to that bowler friendly, so he can be a decent no.6.

Personally, I believe Pandya will gain a lot by playing a county season and improving two things - defending while batting in seaming/swinging conditions and bowling accurately for long periods of time.

Given his short form skills, he's unlikely to have the schedule to play county cricket.  Unless he does so when rehabbing from an injury or something.

why do you need a pacer to give another pacer a break? why not a spinning allrounder? agree it's the preferred option but only if that pacer is any good. our problem is putting runs on the board. pandya is the icing on a half-baked cake -

i havent forgotten his 5 wicket haul

2 pacers 2 full time spinners and a fast bowling allrounder - pandya jadeja and ashwin combined are 1.5 allrounders . nobody is reliable at present with bat

Sorry pandya is busy building his insta and posting cute pics of his 2 dogs.

He doesn't have time for 3rd test.

Regards

dont care if he has three twitter accounts etc

seen him bat ball and field- plays with full devotion , bowls fast and bats sixes .

sorry but his on field attitude is most imp and its nothing but professional . i m not a crazy fan of his but his bowling and fielding is good. batting consistemcy will come - but dont critisize for things that he does in his personal life .

The reason the Indian team looked balanced and performed well was because we had specialists who knew their roles. Pandya imbalances the whole structure. India would have performed better in England had it not been for Pandya.

A. had pandya not played we wnt have even won that one game and dnt tell me anyone wud have done that, no its not easy to take 5 wkts in 6 over. That was a special spell which doesnt happen every day. Someone like umesh has a history of leaking runs on such pitches and wud have gone against us in that game and butler wud have loved more runs in the end when he was counter attacking

b. the 6th batsman in last game didnt contribute to our win

c. it was rahane n pujara runs, they were not consistent in england. Had they been we wud have won .....

N what specialist ???

Bhuvi - he was injured

Hanuma- he did play last test and we lost , so no gurantee

umesh - :giggle::giggle:, had that leak machine played last game we wont have won coz he wud have leaked those 31 runs in a spell of 5 overs

Nair- as loose a batsman as any

The diff btw then n here is Aus has incompetent batting yet we won by just 31 runs which was taken out of the picture by england outstanding lower order . Had it been england lower order the result cud have been different
