5th consecutive 5-fer for Aniket chaudhary
We lost out a huge opp to try him in home series against Aus when Ishant was struggling and aniket was not picking wkts in domestic but was called in nets & was troubling kohli big time in nets. Now he may find it tough to get in Indian team

Its important to introduce talent at right time . Neways this is a gr8 achievement

We have a so called fast bowling captain, that's why he didn't get chance.

I never understand why pacers like Aniket C and Ankit Rajpoot are no where near the Indian team in the last 2 years in the longest format ... while the Umeshs and Ishants of the world keep getting chances till they come good or look rubbish.

Aniket C Is a 6'4" or 6'5"  tall left arm fast medium bowler ...  has a very good bouncer ... a good stock ball ... gets steep bounce ... swings the ball ... and has a good FC record.

Similarly,  Ankit Rajpoot is a 6'3" fast medium pacer who gets consistent outswing ... has natural bounce ... is accurate ... performs in FC.

Tall and accurate fast-medium pacers, who possess both swing and bounce,  can be such assets to teams.  See what Ishant is doing when he has become accurate and is swinging the ball.

Genuine fast bowlers who are taking wickets  now,  like Bumrah, Shami, Avesh, Mavi,  Aaron   .....    and  tall and accurate fast medium swing bowlers with bounce,   like Ishant of today.  Aniket C and Ankit Rajpoot   .....  are 2 types of pacers we should focus on if we want lots of good, all condition pacers.

But they will be thwarted by queue system in which Thakur,Kaul, Chahar are ahead of them.

Siraj, Aniket, Ankit should have made debut by now.

The team management even didn't play Siraj on his home ground against mighty Windies test team

Avesh Khan,  Aniket C.,  Rajpoot and  Siraj should be the 4 pacers for the A-team 4-day games.

So suddenly Saini has gone from being ready to play all three formats for India to not even good for India A?

Let Avesh Khan play the full Ranji season before fast tracking him. Also, they will not pick 4 seamers for a series in India.

On Aniket, he’s earned a spot in India A side and a good IPL will accelerate his national selection now. He’s bowled on heavy bowler friendly tracks but to take 6 back to back 5-fers is a grand achievement and deserves recognition.

Saini has played a lot of A-team games.  He is very good,  but not in the best of forms.

A-team games are part of the development process for youngsters and others should get chances too if they look like India prospects and are performing currently.

If I have to pick 1 pacer this season ... it will be Avesh Khan, because of his combination of bowler type (  pace, bounce, height, wicket taking ability  )   current ability and long term potential.

IPL should not matter for test match prospects.

Selectors forgot him. They used him during home series net practice to our batsman when Australia came to India recently. They wanted to use Aniket to practice for left arm pace of Starc due to also him having the height factor and being larm armer. He toiled in the Indian cricket team nets and then was never kept around. Hopefully they will bring him around after this impressive performancd.
