Aus bat another 30-40 overs at Perth and are assured of a win?

They already have enough. They should just declare and go for the kill. The two openers are walking wickets. You can't rely on Pujara or Kohli all the time. pujara won us the first test. kohli saved us from humiliation in the second test 1st innings. So law of averages will catch up wih them. Rahane may chip for a few runs, but he won't score big. The rest are just passengers. India will fold under 150 in the 4th innings.

Well I am optimistic. Hope Rahul somehow comes good and atleast score a 40-50. Even if 1 of Kohli, Pujara, Rahane fails, atleast we can hope for 125 runs between them. Which leaves us about another 100 from the rest of 7 ( tailenders need to atleast stay and support the batters).

Improbable but not impossible.

If Aus bat even just a little over a session, say 30-40 overs more, they have plenty to confirm the 1-1 score after this Test.

That's sad especially after the win at Adelaide

If they bat for 30-40 overs and go at around 3 an over, the target would be around 300 which Ind would have to get in around 140-150 overs .... in that case, it would be about how we apply ourselves to the task

If you buy a lottery ticket with winning numbers, you will be a millionaire.

There's no guarantee that Aussies can bat 20 overs, let alone 30-40.  Stop staining your chaddis every single time things don't go our way.

@zen India won't last that long, 4th Inn will be a swift thing except for a resistance or two for a brief period.

Stop trying to be  “Cricketics Lite” lol. He’s got that gimmick covered. Surprisingly even he has been realistic after the debacle on day 1

Openers will have to pull their socks up to help us to be competitive  .... at this point, I do not care about loses as much as I used too. If the team play good and fighting cricket, I will take it
