And how many matches has he been out of the team with injury after that glorious century (in which no one supported him). And above all does it prove what fineleg has been trying to prove with his thread after thread rants. C'mon KR...When he does well...there are a 100 threads...and people don't object. As I see there is only one thread about his not doing well.Isn't that acceptable.It is not abusive and it is her opinion.You can agree or disagree. Why object to the number of threads? Waisay if you find someones post irritating...try using ignore option for sometimes.It works for me.

This has nothing to do with chasing or pressure. Tendulkar has always had an average outing in Australian conditions in ODIs. He is yet to make a 100 out of 37 attempts and averages about 31. He did look in good nick in the earlier games, but somehow managed to get out. With a young middle order, his role has changed. He must be tasked with providing steady starts, not worry about winning games. Ganguly did that superbly with Sachin over the past year. Lack of steady starts are hurting us more than Sachin's indifferent form. Veeru is no opener. He must play at no. 4, with Rohit at no. 3. Gambhir must open

Problem is that Gambhir shouldn't open. He's struggled opening, and generally is a lot weaker when the ball is swinging or moving around at some pace. Right now he has been excellent at the number 3 slot, batting far better than I expected and the lower position means he gets to play against spinners a lot more often - and he's among the best players of spin in the side atm. Why move him from a position where he's been successful and producing good scores to one where he's struggled? India needs to find another solution to open without sacrificing him.

But Tendulkar has been biggest bust in this series with the middle order so young ' date=' he instead of taking pressure of them , has put more pressure on them by getting out early, Yuvraj and Sachin have been major cause for concern for this Indian batting line up. Yet he is given constant pass for his failures where as ganguly and dravid who have their share of matches for India were given the axe just after one series failure.

FL, in case you forgot this is a "INDIAN CRICKET BOARD" . Posters can't be faulted if they start multiple threads praising Sachin. Your problem is, you needlessly find faults with him. We are talking about ODI's here. He has been the most consistent ODI batsmen in the last couple of years. Surely one bad series shouldn't be held against him. Incidentally , your kind of Sachin bashing threads are a common feature in PakPassion. Get the drift ?

KR, I dont visit PP, so I dont care what the feature is. I dont have issue if ppl create SRT praise thread. Similarly, if he underperforms and adds to the pressure of our middle order then I will call it out as well. Look, I have seen many big total run chases, and more often than not SRT has not helped us. I almost start expecting SRT wont score big in big run chases these days...its very frustrating to repeatedly endure this sort of non-performance under pressure. This is almost akin to Test matches 2nd Inn while needing to bat a day out to save or win a test. What to say :banghead: very frustrating. A bit of help to our youngsterz yesterday from SRT, and we'd have chased 317 :yay: but alas!!!
