Umesh- what has gone wrong with Umesh?

Recommended Posts

Umesh Yadav-

- erstwhile Fastest Bowler in India. has the fatty bharat arun messed up with him?

-The only bowler who could touch 140K with a small run up also and it seemed as if he can touch 140K with least amount of run.

- Who was always a SPRAY GUN but never had issue's of Pace with him and today's situation he is bowling 129 to 136K...oh even bhuvi can bowl faster than that, what's wrong?

- it seems he has no rhythm suddenly, he got 10 wickets in a test not long time ago.

- if he has declined so fast then why is the team management not sending him home and asking for the fast bowler in india waiting to replace him.

- after such a bad performance, he is definitely not going to play any role in the next 2 test in Australia, why can't they replace him.

It's not his fault! Horses for courses, something the clueless management does not understand.

He is excellent at home, where his endurance enables him to run in and bowl at pace. He is very skilled with the SG ball.

But don't expect him to do the same when India travels all over. Keep him as a back up pacer. Umesh does not have the skills or brains to extract the best from helpful pitches.

Urgent action should be taken to call up Siraj to replace him. Siraj is the best bet to replace Umesh in australia.

other options are varun aroon,  rajpoot, avesh khan, shivam mavi.

But Action should be taken before India Loose the other 2 tests too?

You seriously think pacers have a chance under these freakshow support staff.

last time bowled quick at perth .now pace has gone down

Exactly this is the reason... That's what I think.

He has to just run in n bowl at 145k full on 4th 5th and 6th stump..

Sometimes on offstump.

I think this was his opportunity n he failed.

He has to now bowl for his state team.

Dump him from India team.

True but we can't miss an opportunity to groom another pacer during home tests.

New pacers are hardly getting any chance.

Siraj and Rajpoot are doing great.

they play enough games for India-A , so they are much better groomed

Rajpoot is also good enough to play LOI , so he ll also get a lot international exp their to

Siraj can be played at home as he is very good with reverse, he can play with umesh keeping shami fragile body n workload in mind or sometimes in dead rubbers as we pretty much win all the games at home

Then their are SL, WI, ZImb, BAng test to

Umesh is very good at home so play him their

I doubt he will be effective at home too.

He should have known what brought him in the team despite all those consistency issues. You can't be that dumb.

OR there might be some issue with his action/age-related decline that caused his pace to drop down.

People managing him need to understand that you need to keep things simple with bowlers of his type.

Anyways he should be replaced ASAP
