India vs Australia | 3rd Test | Melbourne | Dec 26-30 2018 5.00 AM IST !!!

Vihari

Agarwal

Pujara

Kohli

Rahane

Pant

Hardik

Ashwin/Jadeja (Whoever is fit on the final day)

Ishant

Shami

Bumrah

Many people will not agree with me but for me playing Rahul and Vijay right now

based on their form is a liability.Better promote Vihari who has sound technique

and Mayank who is an aggressive batsman. They can do any worse than Vijay-Rahul

atm. If Shaw was fit I'd have him in the team but he's out of the tour. With Jadeja or

Ash our tail looks a bit stronger and adds depth to the batting which we lacked in

Perth. Our bowling is good enough and can win matches.

Something that I posted somewhere else. Will the openers fire as Melbourne will be relatively batting friendly?

"In SENA this year, our top order has mostly been about Pujara, who is not even considered a SENA specialist

My 11 depending up on conditions

Rahane

Agarwal

Pujara

Kohli

Vihari

Pandya

Pant

Kuldeep

Ishant / Ashwin / Jadeja per conditions

Shami (esp for 2nd inning vs Ishant)

Bumrah

  • Pandya's inclusion allows us to go with 2 spinners as a part of 4 specialist bowlers if conditions allow

if Kuldeep doesnt play the next especially in light of all this injury BS, it will be clear Kuldeep is not preferred owing to reasons other than cricket

Once again Kuldeep has been snubbed.Precisely why the fattu captain doesn't win anything big, so cowardly in actually being agressive.

Kohli is too afraid of failure as captain. I just feel it. He played the leg spinner karn sharma failed the first match he was captain and at lords kuldeep let him down with poor bowling. It is tough to gain his trust if you fail like that. even ODIs you can see the patterns he always goes for experience.

Kuldeep also won India a decider at Dharamshala, thankfully when Kohli was injured and didn't captain. This guy is all talk and no substance in so far as agression goes.

Whenever the guy opens his mouth ...the opposite happens. Hasn't matured or learned one bit from his previous experiences.

I have started believing @UrmiSinhaRay words that he might be taking :canabis:.:p:

Whenever high...he must be coming up with these ridiculous statements.

"I am sure it [the big hundred] will come in this match, the way I am batting," Rahane said on Monday (December 24). "From Adelaide to Perth, the mindset I was in [was] to counterattack and the rhythm I was batting in, maybe 100 or even 200 can come.

:cantstop:

He scored 148 last time there.

Us Indians as a race are pathetic when it comes to athletic prowess. Every Indian seems to break down time and time again.

Why did the stupid selectors play guys like Ashwin against the WI recently??? Why not keep him fresh for Australia.

If Ashwin is unfit then what is the point of including him in the squad?

Ashwin unfit, Jadeja was unfit (according to Shastri), Bhuvi & Pandya unselectable (lack of match practise as per TM) - But all in squad doing what I don't know.
