After watching so many disappointing tours over 18 years with scattered successes,  this means the world to me. 1947-48, indians chose to use batsman part timers to bowl leg side half volleys when sir don was on 90 so that the respected sir does not miss centuries and make indians proud by scoring 100s against them. Long long way from that now. It's almost impossible to win there for Asian teams but we have done it, quite convincingly.  Congratulations to all of us here!!

What!? Is that real?

Great historic win.  Recall that elusive first series win in West Indies over a decade ago by the Dravid led team with Dravid battling it out in the last test along with contributions from Harbhajan and Kumble.  In between, a t20wc, a WC and now this Aussie first Test series in Australia. Some here had even put a series win in Australia above a WC back in the day.  Congrats to everyone

2006 was a great achievement but we conquered west indies once or twice before. Australia was like the holy grail of test series.

Dravid should always be remembered as the captain to win in eng and wi, not for 2007 wc.
