Kohli is the one who is actually using foul (and unprofessional) language on a cricket platform when representing Ind .... while Pandya and KL were on a personal capacity on a shady platform .... Both Pandya and KL are among the best behaved cricketers when on the field, the platform for cricketers 

 

hypricrisy of BCCI is getting exposed here. Even they stood up for Sachin in the ball tempering saga .... appears as if BCCI, which shows no leadership qualities, caters to the gallery (which includes allowing players to retire on their own terms based on their popularity)

Kohli had no option. He has a much bigger brand value to protect and he ensured he distances himself from this controversy.  His brand value is more than total brand value of Pandya and Rahul.  Also why would he take responsibility of what other cricketers speak. Kohli too might have lost sponsors like Pandya and Rahul did  if he had supported them. Why would he let his brand value wipe off for the comments of two cricketers. 

 

As a captain he can protect them for failures as he has done by saying it was off day in field. What happens in his absence miles away from him isn't his responsibility.
