Nikhil_cric
South Africa's inability to kick on to a larger score cost them in the 1st ODI as they were thoroughly outplayed by a resilient Pakistan. Can they comeback and square the series or will they be tested once again ? Link to comment
sandeep
I think SA is a flawed team, but still think they are a sure bet to win the series, with an outside chance of 4-1. Their mistake was assuming that their bowlers would terrorize the Pak batsmen with any score north of 260. The track was too slow for the bounce to nullify the Pak batsmen, and it still came down to the wire. If they had 20 more runs, they would have won this game easy, and greenbros would be busy chest-beating and infighting blaming Imam for batting too slow, Babar for an Akmal-esque brainfart, and Hafeez for choking. Plenty of time left in the series for all that to happen. Link to comment
speedheat
Southafrican bowlig sucks, just need to see out rabada and Oliver rest of the attack is mediocre . If wicket remain same like in first odi throughout series then it is very likely Pakistan would win the series. Link to comment
Adi BB
Let's see how the wicket plays ,nowadays Durban is pretty flat Link to comment

The 1st ODI track was completely Dhus, the ball lost way too much pace after hitting the deck. That's what ended up being the difference in the end. And even then, another 10 runs would have meant greenbro gotey-mooh-mein big time. Adi BB 1 Link to comment

Adi BB
Both batsmen succumbed to the bouncer ,maybe that should be the pattern to follow Link to comment

Ofcource a good bowler, but not someone who could stop opposition chasing moderate total on pitch like 1st odi with one of their strike bowler having an off day. Especially opposition like Pakistan who are good against spin. Link to comment
