velu
if a player plays 300 odd games , he/she will have some obvious failures .. what about the games in which dhoni bhai did indeed rescued india ? it will be easier to come to a conclusion by comparing both set of stats 25/3 to 381/6 http://www.espncricinfo.com/series/10732/scorecard/1034821/india-vs-england-2nd-odi-england-tour-of-india-2016-17 Link to comment
ShoonyaSifar
In fact other than 2011 WC final and a match vs Zim in last WC where Raina also scored a 100 in a chase, can't remember any significant contribution from Dhoni in 3 WCs, 4 CTs and 6 T20 WCs..must have played more than 50 matches if not more across these ICC tournaments. He's played a few good knocks like one vs WI in 2009, another one in a tri series final again in WI, 100 vs Pakistani in the Aane do series. But thats about it. Only that Tri series final knock was a match winning, every other match was lost in the end anyways. bahubali, Suhaan, Stan AF and 1 other 2 2 Link to comment

Gollum
Dhoni's greatest ODI knock was against Pakistan in Chennai in the Aane Do series. We were 20/5 and the ball was hopping around crazy. He had 2 rearguard partnerships with Raina, Ashwin....got a brilliant ton and salvaged some pride. Real McCoy, GoldenSun and Adi BB 3 Link to comment
