The bowling attack of Shami Bumrah Bhuvi Kuldeep and Chahal with Hardik as sixth option looks so good on paper. Too bad 4 out of the 6 are so unreliable with the bat.

Imagine these 5 bowlers with peak batting line up of Sachin, Sehwag, Gambhir, Kohli, Yuvraj, and Dhoni.

What a team that would be like the aussie team. Will win a few wc

He seems to be in good space right now, only worry is his family matters reappearing before WC.

I don't think any thing else will happen.

Court has asked him to pay child support only and he agreed.

Both being muslims,he does not have to go to court  to divorce her. Although he should  avoid that till world cup.

Phenomenal comeback to ODIs. He's perhaps bowling better than he ever did across formats. More than the number of wickets, his impact on each ODI has been immense.

Richly deserved beak for him now. Should just play a couple of ODIs vs Aus in India and rest again. Even in IPL, should not be playing all the matches as T20s are not his strongest suite and he does not seem to enjoy the format much.

Yeah, that's a fantastic bowling line up. If only couple of bowlers were decent bats. Bhuvi is a good no.9, decent no.8 but definitely not good enough for no.7.

The middle order is very dodgy as it is, picking 5 specialist bowlers will make the batting quite weak.

The best option for now is 4 specialist bowlers (among Bumrah, Shami, Bhuvi, Kuldeep, Chahal) + Pandya + Jadhav.

Shami has been a better bowler no doubt about it. This is where stats can be somewhat misleading as provided in the link below. Bhuvi is a decent backup option but not a good front line choice. Hopefully some young guns get more chances after WC.

Why are those stats misleading, because it doesnt paint what you want?

Nope, Shami was more incisive than Bhuvi and I say that as a Bhuvi fan. The overall numbers never show who was more penetrative or who got some wickets on the boundary.

This is what I have been advocating to those who suggest Ishant is a better odi bowler than Bhuvi based on average. My suggestion to them is watch for instance the CT 2013 final to catch a glimpse of how Bhuvi/Ishant bowl & who gets wickets how, where before running statsguru to decide everything.

lol yeah showing stats since bhuvi started doing well and highlight only those matches. Why can't you just check their whole career stats then?
