Gollum
Can't BCCI convert the Oz series to a 7 match ODI series? Playing T20s right now is madness, so many things left to figure out. Vilander and Kannadiga 2 Link to comment

vvvslaxman
I would load the T20 side with guys who don't take part in LOI. Great chance to use Shaw, Pant etc. was missed. Link to comment
flamy
In the T20s, play the middle order probables to test their striking ability - Rayudu, Shankar, Pandya, Jadhav, Karthik, Pant, Gill, Jadeja. Dhawan should play all games, he looks out of form. Edited February 6, 2019 by flamy velu 1 Link to comment
flamy
Glad they played Shankar at 3 Now, just play Jadhav too. velu 1 Link to comment

Ankit_sharma03
1. Play Shankar at 4, try him in ODI......try try try . Look at the way he plays fast bowling + a gr8 fielder and can bowl to 2. Give pant all the game with assurity that he wont be dropped. U have to give match winners some peace 3. If dhoni is going to Wc he shud play every game, at his age he shud be playing not resting 4. FFS please try rajpoot 5. Hardik pandya shud play all the games 6. If Rahul finds some form against England lions get him back, also get prithvi shaw 7. Bhuvi shud play most games as well Link to comment
zen
I would prefer a squad like the one below: Shaw / Agarwal (to get flying starts) Dhawan Kohli Rohit Pant / Dhoni Pandya Jadhav / Shankar Kuldeep Bhuvi / Chahal Shami Bumrah Link to comment
flamy
Going by the first two T20s, I think Shankar and Pant are definitely being considered for the WC. Most likely squad: Dhawan Rohit Kohli Rayudu Dhoni Jadhav DK Pandya Bumrah Shami BK Chahal Kuldeep Shankar/ Some Bowler (but we already have 6 bowlers including Pandya, plus bits and pieces in Jadhav) Pant I don't think they'll pick Umesh Yadav because they already tested him in ENG series. Rahul, Rahane are off the radar now. Jadeja doesn't really offer anything and so might not be picked. Shankar, I think they are considering as a pure bat now (replacement for Rahul). Pant brings the left-hand variety and explosiveness (er... cowlashing). Shastri was speaking of only one slot being left for which they have to pick either batter or bowler, which means they already considered Shankar as part of the squad. Link to comment
ShoonyaSifar
These are certain picks Batsmen - Rohit, Dhawan, Kohli, Rayudu Keeper- Dhoni All rounder - Pandya, Jadhav Spinners - Kuldeep, Chahal Pacers - Bumrah, Shami, Bhuvi Spots open - one reserve opener, one batsman, and one pacer From last week or so, Shankar, Pant and Khaleel are one good performance away from being picked. DK, Jadeja and Gill have moved down in the pecking order. Umesh by failing in Ranji finals seems to have fluffed his chances as well. Link to comment
