neel roy Posted February 9, 2019 Share Posted February 9, 2019 (edited) Is it good or bad..or just ok India won 12 odi s ( 5 SA,2 AUS,1 ENG,4 NZ) but lost 5 ( 1 SA,1AUS,2 ENG,1 NZ) with a win percentage of 71 India won 6 T20s though should have won 7 ( one washed out ) and lost 4 with a win perc of 60. One match left. So overall 18 won 9 lost ( which is a big figure) with a win perc of 66. In its hey days Australia used to win more than 80 perc of matches though there was no t20s I haven’t considered Nidahas,Asia cup though they were overseas. Its the SENA I am interested in.. Openers would obviously face the brunt of it & Rayudu got his preferred mode of tuk tuk available due to early wickets & absence of the top gun. He could have clearly played for a 100 or even in one of the previous games where he got out on 45 odd. He will either get out forcing the pace cheaply or he will play knocks such as the 5th odi. He was at a Sr of 30 early on for the first 50-60 balls. Clearly life on 60(96) proves he was trying to force the pace and he ended up with a much better Sr at the end. NZ top and middle order on same track did nothing even when they knew how much they had to score. So Rayudu played than home team on that day. Link to comment
