Bowling Units in WC !!!

Recommended Posts

IMO, most of the semi-final entrants will be from these 6 teams.

Australia (Starc, Cummins, Jhye & Lyon???). Any word on Hazie?

England (Woakes/Wood/Plunkett/Stokes Ali & Rashid)

SA (Steyn/Rabada/Olivier/Tahir)

NZ (boult/Ferguson/Sodhi/Santner)

India (Bumrah/Shami/BK/Kuldeep & Chahal)

Pakistan (Shinwaari, Afridi, Aamir, shadab)

What do you think will the bowling units of these teams??.

How do they stack up against each other?.

Apart from India what other teams have spin as a strength in their unit?.

How many all rounders do the other teams have that can contribute with the bowling like say for eg: Stokes?

Ultimately, Which is the strongest bowling in this WC?

There's a good chance that England will select the likes of Archer /Wood/Willey/Plunkett/,Rashid/Ali/Stokes. That's a damn good pool of bowlers for the conditions. Coupled with their extremely powerful batting lineup, I don't see any team beating them unless they choke badly.

India has the best all round bowling unit , even support bowlers pandu & Jadhav have done more than enough in recent past . AUS pace attack is good but they lack a quality LOI spinner , ENG can be lethal if Archer & Mark Wood of yesterday show up but even they lack wicket taking spinners.

The only team who can compete with us in spin department is Afghanistan but they dont have an on field spin coach like Thala Dhoni
