Andy Roberts misses because he played only few years in 80's. He too was deadly and he tried tk seriously hurt the batsman and see blood. After hurting the batsman he would hardly enquire about the batsman's injury , walk back and bowl another nasty bouncer. Roberts even  made Thompson look good in thirst of blood.

Stats are like bikini. What they reveal is suggestive, but what they conceal is essential!

From 1980-1989, Imran Khan played a total of 15 series, wherein the 83 series in Australia, he did not bowl.

So essentially, a total of 14 series. Out of those 14 series, 8 of them were in Pakistan. And he had unreal nos at home. That was the time when Pakistan was notorious for its umpiring. And those were the times when Imran was teaching how to tamper the ball to young wasim and waqar!

From memory Imran was at his best in  82. In that decade.

That is exactly what people are missing in particular with stats. Couple the above behavior with him taking over the bowling when tail enders would come and that is the recipe for highly inflated stats. People just dont get it and print what they see on espn.
