  • 1987: Aus, Eng, Pak and Ind

Going by the pattern, at least 1 of the 2015 SFs could miss out :dontknow:

India's first match is a week after the tournament begins lol who came up with the itinerary?

In our first few games, we play teams that would have played at least 1 game before so if we are caught off guard / wrong combination, we could get knocked out soon :lol:

Eng (home), Ind (our team so picked by default), NZ (recently they have been playing well in ICC tourneys and in Eng) and WI (have to have a dark horse) .... Though Aus and SA have good chance too

I will take Ind’s performance as bonus

Rohit-Dhawan -> can be slow if the par scores are 300+

Middle Order -> Iffy

Middle-lower order -> good hitters but cannot be consistent if they have to go after bowling from ball 2 or 3

Bowlers -> Among specialist, Bhuvi, Chahal have tendency to have expensive games esp. vs good hitting sides

Our practice matches are on 25th and 28th May and the first match is on 5th June! BCCI would plan for the team to land in England by 20th May. Will give us two weeks of acclimatisation time and nearly a month after IPL before we play the first match.
