Quite a few good players in these squads.Fast bowlers are mediocre this time but there are some quality batsmen in there.Three good leg spinners too.

I don't think we will ever see the class of 2018 - MNP* - as far as India U19 fast bowling is concerned.

*Mavi, Nagarkoti, and Porel.

Yatin Mangwani, Ishan Afridi, Kartik Tyagi, Purnank Tyagi, Sushant Mishra, Akash Singh, Manav Suthar, Anshul Kamboj, Harshvardhan hangargekar, Sabir Khan

Looks like a big list, any threatening bowlers, who can scare batsmen with either swing or pace ?

I know Rex swings a lot, Sabir khan played from Bihar but is quite erratic. I wonder why the J&K guy is not in any of the teams, isn’t he 18 or something ?

True. They were pretty special and even their batting was great.

They won every single match so comfortably.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalis name is Rasikh Salam.

It is quite surprising that Rasikh Salam is not in any of the teams.

He averaged close to 19 in both Ranji Trophy and Cooch Behar trophy this season and yet he wasn't picked.

He surely is the quickest amongst all the fast bowlers at this level and is only 17.

If I am right, 3 guys - Kartik Tyagi, Shubhang Hegde and Prayas Ray Burman have played FC/List A cricket.

Don't know about the fast bowlers, but a couple of good leggies (Rohit Dattatraya and Prayas Burman) and a SLA (Shubhang Hegde) in there.

Ravi Bishnoi is also a leg spinner.

Didn't realise Hotstar was showing the u-19 Cooch Bihar Trophy final between UP vs Vidarbha. UP won it.

Kartik Tyagi, is a tall lanky bowler and has a very free flowing smooth action and must be bowling 132-133 kmph (there were no speed guns), was extracting good carry and movement from the surface. Purnank Tyagi was another impressive pacer, bowled massive in-dippers at decent pace. Mohit Jhangra was a bit disappointing

Are these Tyagis related to Sudeep Tyagi, the pacer from UP who almost made it big before injuries ended his career? Even if not related, Sudeep seems to have started a revolution. Tyagis of Western UP stay far away from Sports and are more into agriculture with huge farm lands and recently into education

Apart from them ,there are now many Gurjars too coming to the game
