gakgupta
Does these players have issues with WICB Board? If somehow, they sort out the issues, this team will become very good ODI team. They can open with Sunil and Russell can do finishing role... Moreover, Russell is a 140+ swing bowler....and Sunil is usually very economical spinner... Overall it will become a team to beat..... Even now, this team can do an upset or 2 in the world cup... flamy
I don't think Narine will be in the WC. Looks like the gallery is taking notice of WI now lol Edited February 20, 2019 by flamy Link to comment
Cricketics
Today windies lacked spin bowling or they could have defended the total. England batted with ease. ODI bowling needs varities and varitions. Even acfter puttinf 360 they struggled to stay in the game. If they can fix bowling department, they can be the side to beat. They are missing smart bowlers like Narine or a bowler with variation like Bravo who can take few wickets. Link to comment

Also these guys themslves did not want to play for Windies. Bravo retired from Windies ceicket last year he made it clear. He is only concentratinf on leagues. Link to comment
chewy
It not really politics WICB have simple policy that to be considered for national selection, all players must take part in domestic first class and List A games. Likes of narine and Dwayne don't play any four day or domestic one days therefore it's fair from WICB. Link to comment
bowl_out
Neither of these players have any issue with the board.. Russell is recovering from an injury, and he himself claimed he hasn't recovered well enough to play competitive cricket. Narine is still working on his bowling action, probably doesn't want to be called out for chucking in some inconsequential tour. DJ Bravo has retired from Intl cricket.. Pity he wasn't able to resolve issues with the board.. He would have been a quality addition to the side, particularly with his death overs bowling Link to comment
philcric
Not sure what's the Windies first choice XI would be if everyone is fit and available. Jason Holder may not be able to find a place in the best XI. Link to comment
