zen
Teams with batting as the key strength: Eng WI NZ Teams with bowling as the key strength Ind Aus SA Of course, many of these sides have decent to good batting/bowling too. Assuming teams are full strength and playing at their potential, it will be interesting how the key strength plays out on expected batting friendly tracks in Eng Link to comment
Norman
Feels great to see India having a potent bowling line up for all conditions. Our batting will take care of itself. Of the bowlers perform to their potential, the cup is there for the taking. Link to comment
zen
The winner is expected to win at least 8-9 (6-7 group games if not more + 2 KOs) of the 11 games it would have played Have to take it step by step. Teams enjoying their cricket could do well as they are focused on playing good positive cricket Link to comment
zen
* Eng has home advantage unless negatively impacted by pressure * NZ has relative depth in both departments. If they can pick up their game to be consistent enough and handle pressure well * WI are likely to enjoy their cricket Link to comment
zen
* For Ind, Aus and SA, some of their key players would probably need to have a great tournament .... On good batting surfaces, good batting sides can bat well vs good bowling attacks even if a couple of batsmen click in a pressure game Link to comment
zen
Except 1996, along with inaugural 1975, at least one of the previous finalists makes it to the last 4 of the WC .... So one of Aus and NZ, if not both, has a chance If you consider KOs, in every WC, at least one of the previous finalists has made it to the KOs Edited March 4, 2019 by zen Link to comment
