It is the sector which sees most action between Indian & Pak soldiers. The other side has developed quite a liking for this area despite being clearly divided by the IB coz of majority Hindu population. The govt. must definitely provide IA with latest devices and weaponry to make a significant impact on the terrorists operating across the IB/LOC. Going by news agencies there is 3 noticeable points 1. Indian Army casuality is allmost none while Pakistani Army casuality has started. 2. Pakistani Army has mobilised troupes from Afganh border to Kashmir 3. I think terrorists and Pakistani government tried to influence Indian election. They are desperate and will keep trying till elections. After that there will be lull.
