Ankit_sharma03
I knw its a very veryy far fetched thought as he 1st has to have a good IPL and then things follow still one bowler slot is open and no one is owning that places and a mystery spinner takes IPL by storm then why not, its best to introduce them when no one knws about them. As of now we are just looking at options like umesh in considering that he is a lil better then others despite being such an dumbhead Link to comment
nevada
T20 is just 4 overs per innings per bowler. Even Nehraji was doing well there until not too long ago. But 10 overs of bowling in a world cup game seems like too much to expect from a rookie bowler. That being said, this sounds like a good out of the box idea worth giving a thought to. Link to comment
vvvslaxman
If any bowler wants to walk in he better comes in with some level of batting potential. Otherwise hard to break in. Link to comment
sscomp32
Absolutely not. Ipl and wc are 2 different formats. It will be stupid to pick someone for the top 50 overs International tournament on the basis of a 20 overs semi international tournament. If ipl happened in 50 overs, then there was a case but we are already full. We already have one mystery bowler in kuldeep. Teams take a lot of time to pick him. Nikhil_cric
No. Absolutely not. Performance s in IPL should not be considered for World Cup selection. Link to comment
